On the afternoon of 4^th,May, learning group of our foreign languages study communist center launched the second collective learning, which focused on the learning of Important Speech Of Hu Jintao in The 100^th  AGM of Tsinghua University Foundation. All the members in our learning group learned the speech, based on this, they discussed the reality of our college.

The speech of the general secretary Hu Jintao in the AGM is not only a conclusion of the 100–year history of Tsinghua University, but also one of our high level education, which throw light upon the reform and development of our high level education in the new times. The “Four Musts” mentioned in the speech fully showed the great attention form the Communist Party and the State Council to education and talents. This requires us to set the improvement of teaching quality as the foremost task; we must stick to this in all the works such as the cultivation of the talents in our college, the building of courses, and social services. As for the cultivation of talents, we must keep a scientific attitude and be realistic to strengthen the building of the subject and the group of teaching; we should keep improving the quality of cultivation talents. As for the building of the courses, we should be featured in our own way, create our brand and be academically creative, we should know our direction and enhance our capacity by gathering the talents in courses. We should use the social core value system to lead the teachers and students, use culture to cultivate talents, to propel the building of the college culture and enrich the college life.

The teachers said that the speech of Hu Jintao is a request both for the teachers and the building of teaching groups. As a teacher, one should be responsible and undertake the glorious duty of teaching the students both virtue and knowledge. One should take care of students, be cautious in study, and be heedless of fame. One should improve his virtue and popularize the good style of teaching and be more professional, one should try to affect the students by his virtue, his charm, and his knowledge. He should works as the guider of the students, as to help them grow healthily.
