5th Northwest Provinces University English Debating League (NPUEDL) was held in Xidian University, and the team from our school won the second prize in the competition. There are 60 teams from 18 universities located in northwestern, northern, and central China. The jury was consisted of Zheng Bo (the chief referee of National English Debating Competition in 2012), and so many professional trainers from America, Australia, and Beijing that this competition is of high quality and equality.
There are 16 students from our English Debate Team attending the competition. The team made of Feng Guoqiang and Jiang Lei won the second prize after the fierce competition. What’s more, individuals such as Han Shuhan，Qin Chuan, and Liang Lei won the first award, Cheng Shangjian, Yao Chun, and Wu Yuwei the second award. Otherwise, Lai Shuhan, Qin Chuan, and Zhao Yiming won the best debater.
