Taste the Week Four and Spread the Foreign Culture—the Sixth Foreign Language Festival

Every country has its own history and contains a certain culture.

With five-thousand-year history and civilization, China was deep, traditional, and elegant. All kinds of uniforms and famous cars taking you to the bank of the Rhine River gave you a picture of industrial power—German. Blowing by Korean style and watching the Long Drum Dance, you would have another wonderful view. With a mask, you went to the USA fancy ballexperiencing the colorful American life. Listening the music, watching cosplay, and tasting the tea, you were brought in to the gentle Japanese. In an outdoor cafe, you would feel the romance of France and enjoy the casual life. Soccerdrama, court dance would give you a chance to review the British Classic style

The four special zones show wonders for you:

Costume Zone--you can dress different countries' costume and take photos.

Cuisine Zone--you can taste different countries' food and even make them by yourself.

Video Zone--you can watch posters and videos to know the exotic screen culture.

Cartoon and sketch zone--you can enjoy the masterpieces and watch the live cartoons and sketches.

The interaction will widen your horizon:

Show the skill in making Korean food. Take part in car vehicle label recognizing activity. Learn football skills from the coach. All those activities match the teaching and fun perfectly.

The following activities melt fun with learning:

First, masters' lectures aimed to strengthen the understanding of the foreign culture and cultivate the learning interest. Professor Jiang Tianxi and Yang Changlong were invited to give lectures about the Japanese Tea Culture and French culture.

Second, photography show aimed to show the colorful and positive life in the campus and the master work would be present.

Third, English Debating Competition aimed to practice the English skills and tried to involve all the students in our campus. The competition would begin a week after the opening ceremony and all students were welcomed.

Forth, Japanese Culture Competition aimed to let the Japanese learners show their skills and further improve the learning interest. The competition was divided into three parts: Japanese reading, Japanese songs singing and Japanese speech contest. The theme of the competition was “Study together. Mutual competition, and common progress”.

Every exhibition area represented a country and its civilization; every activity was a stage to show and enhance your ability. The festival was a big world in which you could get happiness, knowledge, and broad horizon.
